Birch is a beautifully clean-burning hardwood that is incredibly easy to light and produces a bright, lively flame. Thanks to its natural oils, birch logs ignite quickly and burn with an attractive flame pattern, making them perfect for getting your fire going fast and enjoying instant heat.
While birch burns slightly faster than denser hardwoods like oak, it delivers excellent heat output and is ideal for regular use in wood burning stoves, open fires, and even outdoor settings where a quick, responsive fire is preferred.
This Birch net bundle is fantastic value for money, giving you everything you need to get your fire started and keep it going. You’ll receive 30 nets of premium kiln dried birch logs, along with 5 nets of kiln dried softwood kindling and a box of firelighters.
Each net contains approximately 9–12 logs, cut to a convenient 10-inch (250mm) length, making them suitable for most stoves and fireplaces. All logs are kiln dried to an average moisture content of below 18%, ensuring a clean burn with minimal smoke and excellent efficiency.
Our birch logs are Woodsure Ready to Burn certified, so you can be confident you’re using high-quality, environmentally responsible firewood. Supplied in practical 22 litre nets, they are easy to carry, stack, and store.
The included kindling is kiln dried softwood, cut small for easy lighting without waste. The firelighters are made from paraffin wax coated wood wool, meaning just one match is enough to get your fire going quickly and reliably.

Our delivery service is available throughout Cornwall and Plymouth and now nationwide as well. We have a small charge of £15.00 for deliveries within 20 miles of Wadebridge, more than 20 miles from Wadebridge we charge £29.99 delivery in Cornwall and Plymouth. For deliveries to the rest of the South West of England a flat rate of £45.00 applies. Our website will calculate delivery charges based on distance for customers elsewhere in the UK.
We now offer you the opportunity to collect your logs, coal and other fuels from us in Wadebridge, this way the cost of delivery is removed and the price drops, this is proving to be extremely popular with our customers as the savings can be quite large.
Our Lorry Dimensions / Access Requirements
We us an 'Isuzu Grafter' for our wood deliveries. When making a wood order at Logan's please let us know if you think we will have issues delivering to your home. If you can let our sales advisor know if you have a single-track road, low bridge or any other obstacle which you think might cause us issues we can try to deliver your order in a suitable vehicle.
As a basic rule, we ask our customers if they can fit a regular bin lorry down their road, street or lane. This gives us a good indication of how much space we have to make the delivery.

We can deliver up to 4 Cubic Metres with our standard tipper lorry. Please see the diagram below for our lorry measurements.
