For heating your home with a cozy fire, there is no substitute for kiln dried wood. It provides the most clean and efficient burn of all firewood logs due to it's ultra low moisture content - less than 18%.
As a kiln dried wood supplier, we are registered with the Woodsure Ready to Burn Scheme which holds us to strict standards on providing kiln dried logs to homes and businesses in the UK.
We sell a range of hardwood logs in nets, barrow bags, and handy bags. Our range includes hardwoods: Ash, Beech, Birch, Oak and Alder. You can buy just one species or choose a mixed load depending on your heating needs.
Heating Homes in Devon
If you have a wood burning stove or an open fireplace and are burning wood to keep your home warm, we recommend Birch, Ash and Oak or a mixture of the three. We do not recommend softwood to customers at all because it burns very quickly and does not provide much heat at all compared with hardwood logs.
