Barrow Bags of Kiln Dried Hardwood Logs
Here at Logan's Logs we make up and sell barrow bags of kiln dried logs because they are convenient and easier to store and move around. The bags themselves have another advantage which is that they are weatherproof (when their lids are tied shut) for short periods of time.
Barrow bags measure 90cm tall by 45cm square. When filled with kiln dried hardwood logs they are heavy but not impossible to move around your garage or home with care or assistance. Certainly much more convenient than moving a loose load of logs one at a time.
We recommend leaving your logs in the barrow bags with the lids removed so your kiln dried hardwood can breathe. The barrow bags should be stored in a covered log store or garage to protect them from the rain.

In stock to buy in barrow bags are Ash, Oak and Birch hardwood logs. All three of these hardwood species are suitable for open fires and wood burning stoves in properties with lined and regularly swept chimneys.
All of our kiln dried hardwood logs are certified by Woodsure as Ready to Burn which means they have less than 18% moisture content when they go out for delivery.
10 Inch Kiln Dried Hardwood Logs
Our barrow bags contain logs that are cut to 10 inches long. This is the perfect size for most small to medium wood burners. Please note that kiln dried wood is sold by volume and not weight. Logs are packed tightly into barrow bags to ensure your barrow bags are filled well.
Receiving your Barrow Bag Delivery
Unlike loose loads, barrow bags can be manoeuvred more easily if you have restricted access to your log storage. Our delivery driver will use a small trolley and a tail lift from our delivery vehicle to move the barrow bags up the path access to your log store. Before we arrive at your property please can you make sure there is clear and easy access from the parking to your log storage area.
