Logs in Nets, Bags, Crates or by the Lorry Load
Firewood is delivered in a variety of sizes to suit you. Choose nets of kiln dried logs for maximum convenience. Nets are easier to move around your home and easier to move from the road to your storage area if access is limited.
If your location has better access, we can deliver bags of kiln dried logs to you with a transfer sac trucks. Customers are reminded not to try and lift barrow bags or boot bags alone because they are very heavy.
If your home / business has yard access or a private area we can tip a logs, choose the loose loads for maximum value. You'll receive the most logs for your money by choosing a loose load but the logs are not packaged in anything, they will be tipped where the lorry can do so safely.
Please note when ordering a loose load of kiln dried logs please ensure there is a suitable place to deliver them. Prices range from around £8.99 for a single net to £265 for a loose load of Oak. Prices do vary through the season. Logs are sold by volume.
Kindling and Firelighters
Kindling and firelighters can be ordered to accompany your logs. We supply kiln dried softwood kindling which is perfect for getting your fire started. Firelighters are small wax covered softwood shavings that provide a flame to light your fire.
Free Delivery to Redruth when you spend over £300
As a business we are now offering free delivery to all customers, including those in Redruth, when you spend over £300 on any fuel products from our website *excludes bottled gas.
Ordering more at a time reduces the delivery carbon footprint and means you have a steady supply of wood all winter. Delivery is automatically discounted at checkout when your basket total exceeds £300.
Please enter a valid Cornish or Plymouth postcode at checkout for delivery services. Our website will not accept postcodes that are not in Cornwall or Plymouth. However, your billing address can be anywhere in the UK and customers are welcome to purchase from anywhere if you are happy to collect your order from Logan's Logs in Wadebridge.
Hardwoods vs Softwoods
We only stock hardwood logs with a moisture content below 18%. Hardwood logs burn at a higher temperature for longer making your stove more cost effective to run. Hardwood logs also produce less ash for every kw of heat energy produced.
Hardwood firewood is the smart choice because softwoods burn extremely quickly and struggle to get to a high temperature.
However, we do stock softwood kindling because softer wood is far easier to light.
Kiln Dried vs Seasoned
Seasoned wood products are wetter than kiln dried firewood. Kiln dried logs are put through a strict drying process to ensure they meet the requirements of the Ready to Burn Certification. This guarantees the firewood has a moisture level below 18%. The sale of logs is governed by the Ready to Burn Scheme and here at Logan's Logs we pride ourselves on our reputation to supply logs to homes and businesses in Cornwall that meet this important standard.
Seasoned wood is not guaranteed to be dried and will therefore not output as much heat as kiln dried fire wood.
