Product Description

UK Grown Ash & Beech Mix

Our kiln dried ash nets are a premium, convenient firewood option for customers who want high heat output, clean burning performance, and easy handling. Supplied in 22 litre log nets and cut to a practical 10 inch log length, these nets are ideal for everyday use in wood burners, multi-fuel stoves, open fires, pizza ovens, outdoor fire pits, BBQs, chimineas, and even saunas or campfires.

Ash is widely regarded as one of the best kiln dried logs for burning, prized for its ability to burn hotter and for longer while producing a steady, reliable flame. Thanks to the kiln drying process, our ash logs have an average moisture content below 18%, ensuring fast ignition, strong heat output, minimal smoke, and reduced soot build-up in your appliance and flue.

Why Choose Our Kiln Dried Ash Logs?

Each net of kiln dried ash firewood contains carefully selected UK grown ash hardwood, kiln dried to deliver consistent quality and performance. The compact net size makes these logs easy to store, transport, and stack, making them perfect for customers with limited storage space or those who prefer to buy firewood in manageable quantities.

Our kiln dried ash nets are Woodsure Ready to Burn Certified, meaning they meet strict UK standards for moisture content, sustainability, and air quality compliance. This makes them suitable for use in smoke control areas and ensures you are burning a responsible, high-quality fuel.

Clean, Efficient and Sustainable Firewood

Kiln dried ash is a sustainably sourced fuel, harvested from responsibly managed forests under Forestry Commission or equivalent oversight. As a natural product, some variation in log size, shape, and bark is expected, but every net is quality checked to ensure dependable performance and excellent value.

Whether you need a small quantity for occasional fires or multiple nets for regular heating, our kiln dried ash nets offer a flexible, reliable solution that delivers warmth you can trust.

Suitable for Small Wood Burning Stoves

These ash logs will provide a consistent heat from your wood burning stove whether your wood burner is small or large. Ash logs are hardwood so burn extremely hot producing efficient combustion with easy lighting. Thanks to this excellent heat output you can operate a small wood burning stove with netted logs easily and efficiently achieving the perfect balance between stove size and room warmth.

These kiln dried log nets have 10 inch logs lengthways. These are about the right size for most small stoves.

Easy Storage at Home

Nets of logs are one of the easiest ways to store firewood at home. Our kiln dried ash nets are neatly packed in durable 22 litre nets, allowing air to circulate around the logs while keeping them contained and tidy. This makes them ideal for stacking in a log store, garage, shed, porch, or next to your stove without mess or wasted space.

Because the logs are kiln dried to a low moisture content, they can be stored indoors without concern, ready to use whenever you need them. The manageable net size also makes it easy to move logs from storage to stove, fire pit, or outdoor cooking area without heavy lifting.

Convenient, Flexible Firewood Supply

Buying kiln dried ash nets gives you flexibility. Whether you need a single net for an occasional fire or multiple nets to keep you stocked up through colder months, nets allow you to scale your order without committing to bulk bags or crates. This makes them a popular choice for homes with smaller stoves, limited storage, holiday lets, camping setups, or customers who simply prefer a more convenient firewood option.

With their excellent heat output, clean burn, and practical size, our kiln dried ash nets are a reliable choice for efficient, high-quality firewood you can depend on all year round.

Firewood Help Topics

We have written a number of helpful articles aimed at helping you to get the most out of your firewood.

Hardwood Log Information

Our Hardwood is harvested from very large forests, under strict control by the Forestry Commission or other governing body depending on where we buy the Hardwood from, because Hardwood trees are natural they will vary in size, shape, even the bark may vary in looks, some trees will be smaller than others, some trees will be larger, the odd log might be a strange shape, unfortunately we cannot guarantee all logs will be the same size, you will get smaller logs and larger in your delivery, we check every load visibly to ensure you get the highest quality Kiln Dried Logs available.

Because the logs are Kiln Dried the bark will fall off quite a few logs, this is perfectly normal, the bark will burn as good as the wood, in most cases the bark will be used instead of kindling sticks or burnt on its own. Bark does form part of the delivery.

We do a hand-picked log service where any loose bark is removed and any larger logs will be removed, each log in your delivery will be picked out and if it has loose bark, it will be removed, if the log is larger than the majority, it will be removed and replaced with similar sized logs, this is extremely time consuming and will require a quotation, we will be delighted to help, please call our customer service team on 0800 8021 223 for a quotation for this service.

All our Kiln Dried Hardwood Logs are harvested and go through a careful kiln drying process, this involves continuous moisture and temperature checking by experienced staff.

This ensures that your Logs are in the best condition when they leave our premises in Wadebridge, Cornwall, our Kiln Dried Logs are continuously checked by our quality control process which ensures they are dried to below 18% moisture, most of our logs have an average of 15%.

Please don't be alarmed if you see the bark coming away from the log, this means the Kiln Dried Log has a lower moisture level, this bark is great for lighting your fire, our customers really like this as they don’t need kindling.

Our Kiln Dried Logs will vary in size, they are a natural product, trees all grow differently, most have a different diameter, so then the Log is split they will vary in size, you will have some larger logs as well as smaller ones, the smaller Logs are great to get your fire up to temperature quickly then you can put the larger Logs on for a longer burn, you may also notice that the bark will look slightly different from others, this is perfectly normal as they are a natural product and like us, they all grow and mature differently.

Getting the Fire Started

Kindling & Firelighters

Choose from our range of affordable firelighters and kindling (sticks). Use these to build your fire before adding kiln dried logs.

Products like Wood Wool Firelighters are designed to ignite very easily when presented with a burning match and softwood kindling combusts easily in the early stages of your fire creating the necessary heat to burn larger hardwood logs later on. Our kiln dried logs are perfect for use in wood burners, providing a clean and efficient burn.

Testimonials

I can’t recommend Logan’s Logs highly enough for their products, customer service and delivery. I had to go out on the day of delivery, so I contacted Caz to ask if the delivery driver could put a tarpaulin ( that I provided) over the coal and log delivery. When I got home I was so impressed that the driver had neatly covered everything and gone out of his way to make sure that the tarpaulin was secured by using plant pots etc to hold it down. What a service! Thank you.

Great service and good quality logs :) It was a rainy day when my last delivery came and as it had to be left outside the driver took the trouble to leave a plastic sheet he had covering the logs. I was able to store nice dry logs the next day.
