Heating Homes in TR14, Higher Condurrow
If you have a wood burning stove or an open fireplace and are burning wood to keep your home warm, we recommend Birch, Ash and Oak or a mixture of the three. We do not recommend softwood to customers at all because it burns very quickly and does not provide much heat at all compared with hardwood logs.
Particularly in winter, choose quality hardwoods logs such as Oak. Oak is the most dense of all the woods we sell and this means it will burn very hot for a long time. Perfect for raising the temperature during the coldest months.
