Birch handybags have been a mainstay for us here at Logan's Logs for a number of years and are very popular with customers. The bags are large at 60 litres but are very convenient for storage and moving around at home. The birch wood logs are packed very tightly into the bag.

Our Kiln Dried Birch Hardwood Logs in Handy Bags (60 Litres) offer a practical and high-quality firewood solution, perfect for heating your home or fuelling outdoor appliances such as wood burners, multi-fuel stoves, open fires, pizza ovens, BBQs, fire pits, and chimineas. Birch is known for its quick ignition, bright flames, and steady heat output, making it a favourite for both indoor and outdoor use.
Each handy bag contains 50 litres of premium kiln-dried birch logs, cut to a convenient 10-inch (250mm) length. These logs are kiln-dried to an average moisture content of below 18%, ensuring a clean and efficient burn with minimal smoke. The larger size of the handy bags makes them a great alternative to standard birch nets, offering excellent value and convenience for those who need a more substantial supply of firewood.
Our kindling is kiln dried softwood, very easy to light and cut small so you don't waste long lengths. The firelighters are paraffin wax coated wood wool, one match is all it takes to ignite them and your fire will be roaring in no time.

Our delivery service is available throughout Cornwall and Plymouth and now nationwide as well. We have a small charge of £15.00 for deliveries within 20 miles of Wadebridge, more than 20 miles from Wadebridge we charge £29.99 delivery in Cornwall and Plymouth. For deliveries to the rest of the South West of England a flat rate of £45.00 applies. Our website will calculate delivery charges based on distance for customers elsewhere in the UK.
We now offer you the opportunity to collect your logs, coal and other fuels from us in Wadebridge, this way the cost of delivery is removed and the price drops, this is proving to be extremely popular with our customers as the savings can be quite large.
Our Lorry Dimensions / Access Requirements
We us an 'Isuzu Grafter' for our wood deliveries. When making a wood order at Logan's please let us know if you think we will have issues delivering to your home. If you can let our sales advisor know if you have a single-track road, low bridge or any other obstacle which you think might cause us issues we can try to deliver your order in a suitable vehicle.
As a basic rule, we ask our customers if they can fit a regular bin lorry down their road, street or lane. This gives us a good indication of how much space we have to make the delivery.
Delivery of up to 4 cubic metres of wood
We can deliver up to 4 Cubic Metres with our standard tipper lorry. Please see the diagram below for our lorry measurements.
