What is the difference between Birch and Beech logs?
Both are excellent hardwood firewoods, but they have slightly different characteristics.
Birch tends to ignite a little faster and produces lively flames, making it ideal for starting and enjoying a fire.
Beech is slightly denser, burns steadily and offers excellent heat output over a longer period.
Both perform exceptionally well when properly kiln dried, so the choice often comes down to personal preference rather than one being superior.
